Here is a place called Moving Poems  that has a trove of video-poems, if you're into that sort of thing. Here's the one they put up of mine from Born.

Tonight I'm reading some poems at Ampersand Vintage (2916 NE Alberta) at 7pm in support of the great Travis Nichols, who will read from his first novel Off We Go Into the Wild Blue Yonder. I imagine if we demand it, if we really demand it, if we throw rocks, he may read a few poems from his poetry collections Iowa (Letter Machine Editions 2009) and See Me Improving (forthcoming from Copper Canyon Press).

If you don't live in Portland, don't panic. I will be reading again on the internet. A LiveGiant reading, live on the internet, for free, from my living room perhaps, or perhaps my kitchen or bathroom. Log in to HTMLGIANT on Wednesday night a few minutes before 9pm Eastern (that's 6 for you west coast knuckleheads). Have a LiveGiant poetry reading party. Don't watch alone, or without a snack or beverage.

Some of those Viking poems I was talking about earlier have found themselves in RealPoetik.

I just recently completed a first draft of a third poetry manuscript called Viking. It is about the whole life of a boy/man named Viking. Each of the 64 poems represents one year in Viking's life. Each poem is being illustrated by the very talented Ian Huebert. Above are two rough sketches for two of the poems, "1980" and "2008." You should check out more of Ian's comics and artwork at his website The Milk Machine.

A lovely video by Rose Swartz that uses an excerpt from my poem, The Pond.

Remember when you asked me what you should be reading? You should be reading Emily Kendal Frey's chapbook, The New Planet, which is just now available from Mindmade Books. And did you get Frances (Poor Claudia 2010)?

ps. This is a poem-film I made for a New Planet poem, "Cold", which is now one of that chapbook's many b-sides.
