The laundry room at my place has a motion-sensor light. If I sit perfectly still for about one minute, the light will turn off. I conducted an experiment to see exactly how much movement it would take to get the light to turn back on. Here are the results: any amount of facial movement without the movement of the head, regardless of how quick or how dramatic the expression, will not turn the light on. The crossing of the legs, however, will turn the light on.

My poem "The Whale"  just went dutch. It's now De Walvis. De Walvis!

A new food cart opened up just down the street from my place. It is called Stevie's Chicken 'n' Waffles. They mostly serve fried chicken on top of waffles. They have a little tv that plays hip hop movies on VHS while you wait. The sound comes out of the two boom boxes out front. Tonight they were playing Krush Groove. I ordered the Billy Dee.

Dear Kate and Clifton, Zach is taking good care of me. I like him. He smells good. He knows how to properly adjust my walk harness. We've been to the park everyday since you've been gone. I think I'm kinda constipated, but anyway, enough about me. Enjoy your trip. Love, Maybelle.

Some of my poems have been translated and featured in the 6th issue of the Belgian poetry magazine, Kluger Hans. Unfortunately, my Dutch is a little rusty, but surrounding my name are the words "wonderlijke" and "respectievelijk" and those seem pretty good.

Bring that $10 bill you found in the washing machine to the poetry reading next Tuesday to help support Portland Hearing Voices. Four of your favorite Portland poets are reading.

Thank you for watching that reading last night I (and EKF) did on HTMLGiant. That was kind of cool huh? I was pretty nervous. When I get nervous, apparently, my forehead gets really big. Anyway, thanks for being good and quiet listeners.
