We've had beautiful weather the past few days. Beautiful weather for raking our flat roof, so I raked the roof.

Rake the roof!

Pardon me for asking, but, why rake your roof? Do you tend to spend a lot of time there?

... These are questions from someone guilty of doing as little "cleaning" work as possible.

This is a terrific question and I wouldn't recommend a roof-raking to anyone. I rake the roof because its flat and if I don't the rain water will not be able to escape into the drains causing a buildup of water on the roof causing a roof leak/collapse. Slanted roofs are all the rage for a good reason.

Plus its fun to be on a roof.
