Dobby Gibson's Polar and Rachel Zucker's The Last Clear Narrative (I see them in your pic) rock my world. Such great books!
do you mind saying something about what it is like to live in bozeman in general, and also if there is an artistic community there etc...any info would be helpful and much appreciated.

Yeah, Zucker's book blew my mind a little and turned me on to her work.
The Last Clear Narrative is one of the best books I read this year.
